How the day runs

Queens Harbour Yacht & Country Club, Jacksonville, Florida.

  1. 8:00 AM Check-in opens Pick up your cart assignment and scorecard.
  2. 8:15 AM Range open Range time is included in your entry.
  3. 9:00 AM Shotgun start Be at your assigned hole by 8:55. Horn sounds at 9:00 sharp.
  4. 2 – 4 PM Networking & awards Lunch buffet and a two-hour open bar. Go home like you’ve been at work all day, or stay.

The Points System

Every hole is worth something

Your team banks points hole by hole, starting from a handicap-based head start. All skill levels genuinely compete.

  • Albatross / Hole-in-One +5
  • Eagle +3
  • Birdie +2
  • Par +1
  • Bogey 0
  • Double bogey or worse −1

Starting points

Average the two teammates’ handicaps, divide by two, round up at 0.5. Maximum handicap is 20, so the highest possible head start is 10.

Worked example — two 13 and 15 handicaps start on 7 points

Tiebreakers, in order

  1. Closest-to-the-hole chip-off
  2. Best stroke score
  3. Best of 3 Ro-Sham-Bo
